Hi, I’m Allesen
Hello and welcome! I’m a California native, and San Diego real estate agent, who believes finding a home is really about finding a life you love. That belief is what drives everything I do; including this blog.
I hate stairs. I always have. So as I’ve built my business in San Diego, I realized I couldn’t be the only one, so I’m building my focus around it. I specialize in single-story homes and 55+ communities across coastal North County and beyond. Communities like Carmel Valley, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Oceanside, and the often-overlooked gems further inland such as Rancho Bernardo and La Mesa.

San Diego is much bigger and more varied than most people realize, so I explore it constantly, learning about neighborhoods, hidden pockets, and local culture, so I can share what I find with you.
Before San Diego, I built a top-producing real estate career in Atlanta. When I found my way back (I went to UCSD, many moons ago) it was with fresh eyes, and a deep curiosity about a city I thought I already knew. Turns out, I’d only scratched the surface.
Off the clock, I’m the founder of the San Diego Social Active Women 40+ Facebook group (7,500+ members and growing) and the Moving to San Diego Facebook group — two communities built on discovering San Diego and helping people fall in love with living here.
I live in San Diego with my two cats and a succulent collection that has gotten completely out of hand. I believe in human rights, democracy, and the radical idea that everyone deserves to feel at home — in their country and in their house.
Welcome to Allesen Wanderland. There’s a lot to explore.
